Last night, at it's annual fund industry awards gala, the Mutual Fund Industry Awards, Fund Action and Fund Directions recognized the outstanding achievements of a number of members of the Forum family. The 18th Annual Mutual Fund Industry awards recognize fund leaders, trustees, marketers, and independent counsel who stood out for their successes, achievements and contributions in 2010. A nomination for one of the these prestigious awards is an honor in itself, and Forum members were well represented in the "Trustee of the Year" and "Small Fund Trustee of the Year" award categories.
Three Forum members were nominated for "Trustee of the Year."
- Bruce Crockett, independent chairman, Invesco Funds
- Robert Gavin, independent chairman, Hartford Funds
- Stephen Lewis, independent chairman, RiverSource Funds
John Demaret, independent chairman of the Rydex-SGI Funds, was nominated for "Small Fund Trustee of the Year."
We are thrilled to report that Bruce Crockett won the "Trustee of the Year" honor and John Demaret was recognized as this year's "Small Fund Trustee of the Year."
