The Forum is committed to helping member fund boards identify qualified candidates to fill board positions. The Forum’s Director Candidate Database features a collection of resumes and background information about individuals interested in serving on fund boards.
Because the database is searchable, interested boards can identify criteria to ensure a high-quality match with available candidates. The database includes information regarding candidates’:
- Subject matter expertise
- Professional experience, including other board experience
- Education
- Location
After providing the Forum with search criteria, the interested board will then receive a collection of resumes that are responsive to their needs. All search results are confidential – candidates will not be notified when their information is provided to an interested board.
Profiles in the Director Candidate Database are active for one year. At the end of one year, candidates will have an opportunity to update their profile or it will be removed from the database.
