Confidentiality Policy


It is the policy of the Mutual Fund Directors Forum (the "Forum") that each member's contact and personal information is strictly confidential. The Forum will not share any such information with any individual, company, or firm without explicit permission of the member. Further, the Forum does not sell, trade, or rent our members' contact or personal information.

The Forum does occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as mailing of our event brochures. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. Though we make every effort to preserve our members' privacy, we may need to disclose a member's personally identifiable information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process.

Director Candidate Résumés
The Forum created the Director Candidate Résumé Database to allow interested individuals an opportunity to share their résumés with fund boards that are in search of new independent directors.  Information submitted through this system is strictly confidential and will only be shared with those actively engaged in director recruitment, including boards, fund personnel, and recruiters.  As a user of the director candidate résumé database, you may remove your résumé from our system at any time, either by logging on and deleting your record, or by contacting the Forum at (202) 507-4488.
