SEC Announces May 10 Money Market Fund Roundtable

The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that it will host a roundtable discussion on money market funds and systemic risk on May 10 at 2:00PM EDT.  The roundtable will feature participants from the Financial Stability Oversight Council and stakeholders in the money market fund industry, academics, and regulators who will exchange views on mitigating systemic risks associated with money market funds. The discussions will include, but will not be limited to, options raised in the October 2010 President's Working Group report on possible money market fund reforms.

The roundtable will not be open to the public, but will be freely available via live webcast on the Commission’s website at www.sec.gov.  The roundtable webcast will be archived for later viewing also on www.sec.gov

The Commission will accept comment letters on the roundtable via the usual channels:
