On May 2, 2008, the Forum Staff submitted a letter to Andrew J. Donohue, Director of the SEC's Division of Investment Management, summarizing the perspective of a number of Forum members on steps the Commission Staff and the Commission should consider to enhance the effectiveness of independent fund directors by streamlining the regulatory system.
